What's the yield of one jar? How long will it last me?
One 3.17oz jar will last between 1-2 months depending on usage. Flakes are lighter and airy, so you can use less volume than table salt.
Is the salt safe in terms of heavy metals or contaminants?
Yes. Saltverk salts are tested by accredited third-party labs. Our geothermal process and the pristine Icelandic location yield extremely low levels, well under safety thresholds. See our lab reports.
How should I store it?
Store in a dry airtight container, keep away from steam.
Are your salts iodized or do they contain additives?
No. Our salts are not iodized and contain no anti-caking agents or additives. Just pure sea salt, plus natural botanicals in the flavored varieties.
