BUTTERED CARROTS

CARROTS:

  • 1 lb fresh small carrots, tops removed (except for about 1/2 inch)
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • Arctic Thyme Salt, to taste
  • pinch of ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar

Peel and rinse carrots, and add to a saucepan over low heat.  If you do not have small carrots, you can use regular carrots, simply cut them into 1cm thick rounds. 

Add butter, sugar, nutmeg and Arctic Thyme Salt to the pan.  Cook on low heat until carrots become tender, but not mushy.  Top with a finishing pinch of Arctic Thyme Salt and enjoy!
